It has been a crazy year 2011.....
We had two additions to our family.... Jon and Dee.
My little brother and sister moved to Texas to live with us. The girls have loved it.

We moved to a new house.
Something a little bigger to fit our family of 7!

Lost Jade's Dad John Savoy to Cancer. He will truly be missed.

Went to the beach a lot.

Got pregnant ended up miss carrying but we are trying again.
So that is something to look forward to in the new year.

Hanna started 1st grade
AND
Macy started 3rd Grade

We made lots of really great friends that we could never imagine not knowing.....

So in the end it was a hard 2011 but as Jade says " One great thing that did happen this year is we saw our girls turn 9, 7 & 5. So that is a great year."

Macy and Hanna's Piano Recital

Macy and Hanna just started taking piano lessons. Macy 3 months ago and Hanna 3 weeks ago. The worlds best piano teacher asked Hanna if she would like to play in the recital and she said YES. So in the weeks he taught her how to play deck the halls. Which she can now play very well. Macy played a song that Andrew( her teacher) wrote just for her called the bell on Christmas. It was so beautiful. The kids both had so much fun and did so great.

Frio River, Texas Summer 2010

It has been about 10 years that I have been hearing about how wonderful the frio river and garner state park are. Well now that we have moved to Texas I thought that it was time to find out how wonderful it really was, So in 107 degree heat we packed up and went camping (Yes against all of the better judgement of our Texan friends that said it was way to hot out!), The girls loved it and the water was beautiful. The tubing was so fun and the girls loved that they could see the bottom of the river even when it was super deep. After five days, a 9 dollar bottle of aloe, lots of swimming and tubing I can say that the frio river is as beautiful as Mr. Jade has been saying for all these years and we will be going back the next chance we get.

The whole town goes to the games. They are sold out on Wednesday! Almost everyone has season tickets and if you get caught speeding on the way to the game the kind police officer lets you off with a warning. Crazy! Love it! The kids have such a good time.

After coming home from girls camp my girls have done nothing but ask to go to the beach. So today we thought that it would be a great day to go. It is going to go rain the next few days so off we went. Little did we know it was going to rainy today also. When we got there it sprinkled a little bit. I was not so sure about the girls swimming with the bad weather. Jade had a good point right about then... Are the girls going to get anymore wet in the rain at the beach then at the beach when it is not raining? Ok, he is right wet is wet. They loved it and I loved not having to reapply sunscreen every hour on the hour.

After school one day we had gotten a lot of snow and the kids were so excited to go out and play in it. I have always wondered how they can play outside when it feels like 10 below and have so much fun!

A Wicked Good Time!

Two weeks ago Macy, my sister Susan, myself, some other ladies from church and their daughters all went to Cleveland to see Wicked. Macy's birthday is two days after Christmas which is not so much fun as the mom because what do you get a 7 year old two days after Christmas that she has not all ready gotten from my very large family? You get her tickets to go see Wicked in November! With Macy's love for anything musical this was the perfect gift for her. I did not tell her till the night before where we were going. We both got all dressed up. Macy got a new dress and I did her hair. She was so excited. Her eyes lit up when we got to the Theater. It was a such a nice theater with large crystal chandeliers. It was what you would think that a fancy theater would look like. It was so fantastic. We all loved it so much. I would go see it again if I had the chance to.

This was one of Macy's favorite parts. She love how the witched looked like she was flying!

Anyone that knows my Macy knows that she is the most girlie girl there is so of course she loved Glenda's gown!

The music, costumes and lighting were all so fantastic. If you get the chance to see it I would try to go. I told Jade that once Hanna is a little older I really want to take her to see it also. After the play we went to the cheesecake factory for dinner. The food was great and the cheesecake was out of this world. We had such a great time on our Mommy and daughter day!

Addie's 3rd Birhtday

Do to the fact that they are having a really big birthday party after Christmas this year we have had low key birthday party's at home.

Addie got a new Cabbage Patch doll this year.

I remember when I was little my dad looked every where to find me a cabbage patch doll that looked like me. When went to pick out Addie's I had to make sure that it looked like her also. So after looking on black Friday for one with blue eyes and blond hair I was out of luck... then I turned around and this lady put one back that was just what I was looking for!!! We pointed out to Addie that she had hair like hers. She was so cute when she looked at her hair and then said " She does just like me!"

She loves her new baby. It goes every where with her.

This year right before trick-or-treating the girls and Jade craved our pumpkins. It was really fun to watch the girls TRY to clean out the guts of the pumpkins. They were not fans of the whole experience. You can just look at Macy's and Hanna's faces to see how much fun they were having. Needless to say Jade and I have raised VERY girlie girls!

Addie might be the only smart one in the whole group. This look is one of " I don't care how much you want me to put my hand inside there because it is NOT going to happen!"

Our Camping Weekend- First Night and Morning

On friday I was sitting here and thought to my self I really want to go do something fun this weekend with the kids. Well the weather was going to be 74 and sunny all weekend long so why not go camping!? So at 2 in the afternoon I asked Jade if he was up to it and off we went to Maumee Bay to pick out a camp site. They one that we picked was so get. Right next to the bathrooms and had a playground that we could see and hear from or camp site. It was great. When we picked Macy up from school she was so excited to go!! Here are a few highlights from the weekend.

The new way to star gaze!!! With a phone a app. called google star maps. Macy and Jade had a really good time looking at all the different consultations.

First thing in the morning the were off to play and make new friends at the playground.

It was great other then the big billboard that was right in the middle of the fireworks show. They moved them from the spot that they have been for the last six years. It was still fun!

BUM BUM BEAR!

I was laying in bed the other day and thought how am I ever going to get Addison to stop using her bum bum? I am the kind of mom that has a hard time taking things away from the little ones. I felt so bad when I told her she could not have it. Well my great and wonderful idea was to go to build a bear and have her put her bum bum in to a bear so that at night I would not feel bad because I had nothing to give her when she cried. I thought that I was so smart! Then I come to learn that parents have been doing this for years. So needless to say I am not the great and wonderful mom that comes up with the best idea ever. That is all right with me because even thought I was not the first mom to come up with this idea it stilled worked. Addison was so excited to get a new bear. They lady working there made me laugh. She said that I am the only mom that she has seen that had the kid take the bum bum right out of their mouth and put it into the bear. What can I say sometimes the band-aid method works the best.

The first night was a little hard. I sworn that I would walk in her room and find the massacre of the bear. Millions of pieces of bear laying ever where and Addison sleeping happily next to the carnage with the spoils of her bear war. Much to my surprise when I heard her crying in her room I walked in to find her digging at her bear trying to open it but he was still intact. I explained to her that now she was a big girl and that bum bum bear was going to help her to sleep. After that night it has been smoothed sailing. She takes Bum Bum Bear everywhere with her and they are the best of friends.

Addison Getting Her Ears Pierced!

For about three weeks Addison has been asking us " When I get my ears pierced?" We have been putting it off for a while. This morning the first thing out of her mouth was. " I get my ears pierced today!" Jade and I laughed. Then we thought about it and she is about the same age as the other girls when they got theirs done so why not!

This is the look a two and a half year old makes when she is thinking what did I get myself into.
We had just gotten done watching a 6 year old scream her brains out while she got hers done.

I had Jade do the dirty work of holding her hands down.
I told him it was because I wanted to take pictures.
Any mom that has done this knows the real reason that I wanted to be the one taking the pictures!

She was great she only cried for about a minute. Don't you just love her dirty look?

Hanna was so excited to help with the dining room today. She was very helpful with scraping up the mud that Jade dropped from the drywall. I love the age of four she is still willing to help because she want to spend time with you and she think that every thing is sooo fun. The other thing that I am pretty impressed with is this girl has no problem with getting dirty. Macy would never be sitting on the dirty floor with out a towel under her knees.

Macy's Big News

Macy at the grand old age of 6 years, 3 months and 8 days old lost her first tooth!! She was so excited to have finally lost one. All of her friends lost theirs months ago. I can not believe how old she is getting. I thought it was just yesterday that she got her first tooth. She was super brave. Not one tear was shed when it came out. Now the funny part was when Hanna asked if she could take one of her teeth out so that she could have some money. You have to love the way Hanna thinks.

This is my wonderful dining room and kitchen as of this morning. Buy tonight I hope that all the mudding and taping will be done so that I can paint in the next day or so! Do you all love the nice wood window!? I sure do!

One day there will be a counter and a sink where those 2x4's are. On that day I will be a much happier person.

Our Beautiful Dumpster!

This was not part of the plan. On Sunday we got a lot of rain and the large back window started to leak. So out it went and down came all of the siding. We knew that the window and the siding were going bad but wanted to replace it at a later time. That all changed. Now I have beautiful french doors and two new windows on the sides. We are going to put white siding up later in the week.
I can't thank Kevin, Jon, Anthony and Susan enough for all of the help at the last minute.

The Color Choice

So here is what I think Jade and I have picked for the dining room and kitchen. What do you all think?

The Rhinestone is going in the kitchen and the Gray Clouds is going in to the dining room. The Cajun Red is the color of the curtains that I have for the dining room.

Home Remodel Day One

Well here we go. I think that we have lost our minds. When we moved into this house the one thing that I hated the most was the dining room! It was all 1970 wood paneling. I can't think of anything that I hate more then this!!! So we painted it and went about or life. Now two years later we are taking it down and redoing the kitchen and dining room. I know what you are thinking this sounds like great fun and it is.

The plans are to drywall the dining room and ceiling. Add can lights and a fan to the dining room and kitchen. That brick wall that you see is not going to be there in about two days. That wall will be open to the kitchen. I am sanding and staining the kitchen cabinets a dark mahogany stain. Jade is putting natural bamboo flooring in both rooms and I am repainting everything a fun new color. Jade is also pouring concrete counter tops. I am going to try to do daily up dates so check back for all the fun that is going on at The Land of Brant's Crazy Remodel!

And now something that is totally not related. It was so nice out 65 and sunny for the last part of the day. Macy and the other girls were playing outside. She came up to me and asked " Mommy, do you think that it would be okay to play in the sprinklers? Could you set it up?" I love my baby that thinks 65 in hot enough to play in the sprinklers!

Our Crazy Life!

I feel like life has been crazy these last few weeks. With Macy and school, getting stuff together for my yw camp activitys, running around droping off and picking up the girls. Macy is doing an after school computer class monday thru thursday. Hanna is loving preschool. Both of the girls are taking Baton and twriling classes at or local rec center. Addison is loving having the morning with just her mom and dad. We are starting the remodle on the kitchen and basement. I should not say starting on the basement because I have had 100 2x4's sitting down there for over a year with half of the basement framed in. I can't wait for jade to open up the kitchen wall to the dinning room. It is going to be a lot of work but will be great when it is done. There will be lots of pictures to come!!! That is what we are up to in a nut shell. I just don't know where we will find the time to do anymore once they are12, 14, and 16! I do love having such a great fun life with my three crazy, fabulous and beautiful girls!Hope everone is doing great.

P.S. I am typing this in my car on my cell because I have a little time right now! Fun,fun,fun.

The other day I walked into the girls room and see this. I told Macy, Hanna and Addison to go play in their room. Macy had just found her old baby bed when we moved their rooms and though that it would be fun to put her baby Addie to bed. Addison being the most easy going kid ever went right along with her sisters plan. Addison would snooze, pretend to be sleeping and cry well they played. They must have played like this for two hours. Hanna wanted nothing to do with this because as far as she is concerned she is still the baby.

Jade and I went out Bob Evans Last week one morning after we dropped the girls of at school. Addie went with us. We sat down and asked her what she would like for breakfast. She opened her little kids menu and turned to the last page and said with a big smile on her face " This!" She was pointing to the Ice cream Sunday! We both agreed that the other two were not with us what was it really going to hurt if she was to have ice cream for breakfast? Well, our 60 year old server took or order and looked at us like we were the worst parents in the world. Now when she came back to our table with the ice cream she under stood why we did what we did when she saw Addie's face. Her eyes lit up, she gasped and with the biggest smile Said "Thanks mom thanks dad!!!" You can't replace memories like these small little ones that only happen when they are so sweet and young.

Her happy cheese once she got over the excitement of the desert. She even decided that it would be easier to us a spoon then her tongue.

Macy's 6th Birthday

Can we all believe that Macy is now 6. For her birthday we took her to lunch at Red Robin and to see the movie Bed Time Stories. Her best friend Abby went with us to celebrate her 6th birthday also. She was born four days after Macy. Which is a fact they both love! Then we went home and had Spaghetti and had her Cousins over to play and hang out. She seemed to have a great birthday.

The Lights Before Christmas 2008

It is that time of year again. Time for The Lights Before Christmas. We decided to go before Christmas well it was still warm out, If you can call 36 warm. The kids loved it. They are all old enough this year to enjoy the lights. Addison keep saying "So pretty!"

My Addie and me. She was so good. I don't know if that was because she was to cold to move or I had her so bundled up that she could not move. I think that her favorite part of the whole thing was the hot cocoa that I got for them to drink. She drank a whole cup by herself.

This is most of the crazy crew that went with us. Ben, Addison, Abby, Macy, Hanna, Nick and Dee. My Friend Karen and I decided to stay out of this picture. We were pretty sure we would have ended up with rabbit ears if we had stepped into this photo. Jenny and Kassie's families went too but left before this picture. In the end the kids had a blast and were ready for bed once they hit the car. I have to make a note that Jade was so sad to not be in town for the this yearly outing. He was missed by all that were there. Okay, everyone that knows Jade knows he hates the cold and it is like pulling teeth to get him to go to this. But we did really miss him.

After a very busy week of making five costumes, going to a ward party, two school party's, a 4Th Birthday, Trick or treating at the zoo and trick or treating with my sister and her kids I can say I am glad to be done!! Doesn't everyone love my hussy makeup. I went home and did my makeup after I drop Hanna off at school. When I walked in to her class room her eyes got so big and she said really loud " Mom, I love your makeup. You look so pretty!" I am glad she is not 16 and saying that. I still have some time to change her taste in makeup!!!!

This tree is great for taking a family photo. They only bad thing is that the family is not so great for the photo. They get so tired of me asking them to smile.

Aunt Jenny was so good to climb up into the tree and toss the apples down to the kids. She did great until she tried to get down in one piece. All I can say is that she is a better mom them me for going up there.

We decided to walk into the picking area of the orchard. They kids were so tired by the time we were done and that bag was very heavy. The girls and I decided to make apple pie filling to freeze with the apples that we pick. It turned out so good!!!

It is that time of year again. The leafs start to change, it gets a little colder out, Jade starts to whine a little bit more (because of the cold and the fall outings that I make him go on!!!) and last but not least the time of year to go to the pumpkin patch. This year we went with Aunt Jenny and Aunt Shelia and all of our kids. As you can guess it was lots of fun!! Well the kids did think that it was a lot of fun so 6 out of 9 happy pumpkin pickers is not to bad. We woke up and got into our Halloween outfit, they humored me and did some cute smiles for the scrapbook and we headed out for a fun morning of family togetherness. The donuts were very tasty and the kids loved the hay ride. It was a little chilly out but that just makes for a better experience. I do love this time of year. I am definitely one that loves the change of the season.

This is what you get when you go to the park with Hanna. She was playing and fell from about 5 feet down to the ground where she smashed her face on a little green stepping stone. Thankfully my friend Karen was down there with me and her husband is the fire chief of the little town that we live in. She called him up and he came to check it out. Once he got there he said that she really needed to have it checked. He called it in and did all the paperwork so I did not have to give my info six times. Thank goodness for friends. I don't know what I would have done with out Karen there, she took the kids well I went with Hanna in the ambulance. Hanna was so afraid and did not understand what was going on. Everything turned out okay and Hanna now has a new teddy bear that she loves so much. She named the teddy bear that the EMTs gave her Doctor Bear!!

Addison Potty Training

Well, here I go again. I am becoming a pro at this. Yes, we are starting the fun task that is knew as potty training. Addie came up to me the other day and said "Peeeeeee" I think that if you can tell me that you are wet then you can try to use the potty. Tonight she did it. I have been putting her on the potty in the morning, after naps and before bed. We started this on Saturday. It is late monday and I had left her to sit on the potty. Knowing that she might end up with her small bottom in the toilet water. Anyone with kids knows what I am talking about. As I was coming back in to the bathroom she was peeing!!!!! Happy Day. We will see how long this last. She is only 22 months old. I think that she is doing great for her age.

Vacation Swap and Fall Wreath

It is done! I signed up for the most fun fall apron swap. The theme for the swap was where you would love to have gone on vacation. My partner that I was given wanted to go to Martha's Vineyard. This is what I came up with. I love how the white picket fence turned out on the pocket.

Hanna's Princess backpack!

Hanna was so excited to go to school last Monday. She even let me comb her hair!!! That is a small miracle. She was the most excited about the ride on the school bus. I think that it is really silly that she rides the school bus when it is less then two blocks from where it picks her up but after the first day I realize that it was really nice to drop Macy off and then Hanna hops on to her bus right there at Macy school. I don't have to get Addie in and out of the car eight times in one day.This is so nice after getting Hanna and Addie in and out so much last year with Macy's Preschool. Well needless to say Hanna loved it. Friday she woke up and was so mad that she did not have school. With her four day weekend she was really hard to live with. I was so happy to let her get on that bus Tuesday! She says that her favorite thing about school is " Painting a picture and snacks."

I am so proud that I made this apron. It is for a fall swaps that I signed up for. Susan found this pattern online at http://www.susanbranch.com/shopping/shop5-07/pattern.cfm. The nice thing is that it is free. Just scroll down and click on the apron tab. Well Susan and I were at Hobby Lobby she found a bias tape maker. This patterns calls for seven yards of bias tape. So it was so much better to make it and I got to pick out the color that I wanted. I even made a potholder that matches. It was not the most perfect potholder but it will work. When I was done with my apron I really wanted to keep it but I was good and put it in the mail. I really hope that she like it.

Every Sunday the girls and I pack up a nice picnic dinner and head out to the zoo for Music Under the Stars. I have been going to this Sunday outing from a very little age. So when Macy was about two we started to go and have gone every Sunday that they have it. They run from July to the end of August. It is free and lots of fun.

This week when we got to the zoo and I was getting Addison out of the car she was sound asleep. I put her into the wagon and she stayed asleep all they way into the zoo and then stayed asleep well I moved her to the folding chair. She was out for about an hour. She was so cute.

Macy's Fisrt Day of School 2008

Can you believe that Macy is in kindergarten already? I am her mom and I don't believe it. It was just yesterday that she was a cute fat little baby. She is loving it so much and can't wait to go each morning . We live just two blocks from the school so we can walk to school each morning. Addison seems to like the walk in the stroller the most. Macy's teachers name is Mrs. Simmons. Macy says that she is real nice. I have asked her what she has learned in the last few days and she says " I don't know. Probably nothing!" That makes you feel good as a mom. This is the education that our taxes get us " probably nothing"

Macy was so excited to wear her new shoes that Nana got her and the new Gap tee shirt that her dad and her picked out last weekend when he was home for a few days. Her favorite new school thing would have to be her High School Musical Bag!!!

The other day Hanna said that she was sleepy. I told her I was almost done with dinner and that it would be only a few minutes. The next thing I know I can't find Hanna and she was not answering me!! After I searched the whole house the last place that I look was our family room and there she was. Sound asleep!! It only took her about two minutes to be completely out to the world. Jade is the same was. We could be talking and the next minute he is snoring. He has a bit of narcolepsy. I love how she made herself all cozy and went to sleep.

Uncle Jim came by last week and gave the girls some suckers. Anyone that knows Jim or as he is better know as the Candy Man at church he love to give the kids candy. I have all ways joked with him that my kids are going to be okay with old men trying to give them candy. Well, this time Jim gave Addie a bright blue sucker. A few weeks ago we had a birthday party to go to at Susan's (my sister) and Addie was just starting to come down with some little bug and I think that she was starting to cut some more teeth. As you can tell by the finger in the mouth. She was so sweet all night she sat with me or would not be more then 2 feet away for very long. She is was my little snugly girl till she felt real bad and all she did was cry but hay you have to take the good with the bad! I do love this picture of her because she looks so much like Jade. I feel like I have been a very bad blogger for the last few weeks . We are alive,the girls are doing good. School starts in two weeks!!!!!!!!! Macy in Kindergarten and Hanna in preschool. We have... Okay I have been trying to keep myself as busy as I can with different projects just so I don't go crazy well Jade is out of town. Jade says that I am turning into my mom. Every time my dad would travel out of the country for a few weeks he would come home to a new kitchen or new bath or all new carpet through the whole house. They word "Project" has turned into a bad word in the Wibbeler home and with all of my family! Well, I have tried to keep my projects down to small ones . Jade says that is because he has only been gone for a few weeks. He still has 4 more months. He just might have a finished basement by the time her gets back!!! I did just make some really cute bags for the girls. I will try to get some pictures up in the next few days of them. They did turn out really cute!

Yesterday I thought that it might be fun to take the girls to Chucky Cheese. Yesterday was Sydney's birthday and what could be more fun then all your friends getting together to have a party.My sister Susan, Sydney, Paige, Kate, myself, Macy, Hanna, Addison, Dan, Dan's girlfriend Liz, Adam, Brandy, Sammy, Laura, and Drew all where there. It was quit the last minute thrown together party and they loved that they all had all of there cousin there. Just a little OCD!!!

Today I had a lot of running to get done. The bank, the other bank, grocery shopping, get diapers from target, reserve a copy of Breaking Dawn at books-a-million, get Kate and Sydney's birthday gifts for fridays party, clean the house, go to the library, take care of the girls and etc........ But during all of this I had to stop and laugh at my sweet Addie. The last few times that we have been to the store I have noticed that she wants to be in the cart. Well at the age of one and a half something must be wrong. So today I stopped and payed better attention to why she wanted to get in the cart. Here is what I learned.... My little OCD baby will not step on any cracks. She sees the tile in the store and starts to freak out! I have to say it is funny to watch until she gets so stressed out she wants to cry. All day at the book store, Target, library and the bank she would be okay on the carpet areas until she came to the tiles with the lines. Jade and I have all ways joked that she was a little OCD because she loves things in there right places and will spend all day cleaning up toys and wiping things down with baby wipes. What can I say hopefully she will grow out of this but if not she just won't have a shopping addiction like the other two.

So this is how my life has been going. Jade left for Kansas last week and is going to be gone till after Thanksgiving. A few days before he left he thought that it would be a good time to take the pacifier away from Addie. She is 1 1/2 now but come on who does this right before you leave town. Jade that is who!!! He is a smart one. He does not have to sit and listen to her cry when her teeth hurt. I called him and asked what he thinks I should do to make her teeth feel better? He said " Give her a tooth brush to chew on. She won't want to chew on that forever." I am married to a crazy hillbilly!!!!!! Needless to say I am giving her the pacifier for bed time and taking it out as soon as she falls a sleep. It is so cute because when she wakes up she look under all of her covers and under her bed to try to find it. The look on her face is so sad when she does not find it. As soon as those eye teeth come in it will disappear.

Tonight Macy walked in to the kitchen and told me that Bella had pooped on the floor near the back door before she got out. I said to her "well go pick it up", just to see what she would say. Well the look I got anyone with kids can imagine. Then she said " Mom, I did not want the dog Hanna did. I really wanted a bird!!!" Now I laughed and laughed because Macy wanted that dog so much and loves it but at that moment she did not love her so much.

Girls Camp 2008

Macy helping me pack at 11:30pm. The girls were so good they only pack one bag each. I on the other hand packed 3 suitcases and a air mattress.

Don't you all remember this.? Sitting around the camp fire singing song for hours. The girls by the last day were so done with this.

Lex was all ways ready for a good photo opportunity. I wonder if she remembers any thing that was taught in that class.

It was so odd to be there an adult leader then a YM. I was the leader that got to sleep in the 4th years cabin all week. I got a little less sleep then normal but that is what happens when you sleep with a bunch of 15-16 year old girls. The nice thing is that I knew what is was like to be one of them. I was of the mind set of stay up all night if you want to but don't keep the other girls awake and don't worry about me I have 3 kids under the age of 5 I can sleep thur anything. The girls from our stake are so great. They have such sweet spirits. I also loved having my sister Dee there with me for her last year of camp. It was nice to get closer to her in a different way then at home. It is good to be home and not here J/K EVERYONE! I am trying to stop my self from using the word awesome all the time. These girls have a way of rubbing of on you. Mostly in a good way!

I love it when we are all in the van and Macy and Hanna start to sing. Anyone that has had more then one kid sing in the back seat knows what this sounds like. Well, then (this is my favorite part) Addison starts to sing along with them. This just melts my heart her little 1 1/2 self singing La-la-la-hm-hmm. She wants to be just like her big sisters.

I am done and I loved them. I can't wait till the next book comes out in August. The movie is coming out on the 12th of December so then maybe Jade will understand why I like them. Some thing you need to understand about Jade is that he is not a reader. So, he thinks that it is crazy to read a 600 plus book in two days let alone read all three in a week and a half. All I can say to him is to each his own. You don't see me watching The Ultimate Fighter all the time.

Now I can get on with being a better mother then I have been in the last two weeks.

Twilight

Here is the reason I have fallen off the face off the earth. Jenny (Jade's cousin) recommended the Twilight series to me. I was willing to try them out because if Jenny said that she likes them more the Harry Potter then they must be good. Well, she was right. I love them. I started the first one at camp and only got past about 100 pages. Once I got home I read the rest in two days. Then I went and bought the next one New Moon and had to promise Jade that I would only read a chapter that night. After about 3 hours and the fact that I was on page 350 he realized that I was not going to keep that promise. Two days later I am done and can't wait to go get the next one. I did tell Jade that I would wait a few days before I got it so that the kids and him did not feel so neglected. I just want to say thanks Jenny. A really good read.

The land of crawly things

Off to the land of bugs and creepy crawly things. It is the day that some of our girls leave for camp. When we were working on some of the paper work we saw that we would be at camp on friday the 13th. Not a good day to be near a camp. Jade said that we should be fine as long as the camp is not on Crystal Lake..... That makes me feel so much better!!!!!!! Well, it should be lots of fun, I will post a bunch of pictures when we return. Wish me luck!

This morning I wake up and the first thing out of Hanna's mouth is "Can we go to the zoo today?" I love that in her world the Zoo is everything. She has no clue that today I have to make cheesy potatoes for a funeral before 10, go to the bank, watch Abby, run to my other bank, run to a doctors appointment, finish up a few things for camp, plant the vegetable garden, clean my house before I leave for camp, go to post office to mail apron and still do the everyday mommy things that have to be done! As far as Hanna is concerned I must have time to run to the zoo also. But you tell me how do you say no to this face? Maybe we can go tomorrow.
